Since 2003, the Krewe of Parrotheads has been a lively and beloved presence in the Pensacola Mardi Gras scene. Founded over 20 years ago by Pete and Ann Keiek along with a vibrant group of 50+ original members, our Krewe has evolved into a dedicated family of approximately 26, guided by our 5 board members. More than just a social group, we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization driven by a shared enthusiasm for the laid-back beach lifestyle and the iconic music of Jimmy Buffett. Our inspiration remains rooted in a deep appreciation for Buffett's relaxed island vibes, inviting everyone to imagine life in Key West or the Caribbean, while our core mission is to support and uplift local dog rescues, making a positive impact in our Pensacola community.
